CerriTto Residence

  • In 2000 the home is purchased by Jeffrey and Karen Hogan

  • In 2007 the Hogans decide to add on to the house and hire local firm Estes Twombly Architects to design the renovation. The Hogans ultimately determine they will need a new house and begin to search for someone who will take the original house and preserve it elsewhere.

  • The Paul Rudolph Foundation arranges to have the house donated to it and relocated to a site in Catskill, NY owned by Daniel Sachs and Kevin Lindores, two designers from New York.

  • Dismantling of the house begins in May 2007 with plans to ship it by flatbed truck to the new site.

  • In June 2007 negotiations to move the house fall apart and the home is later demolished.
