County revising Gov't Center environmental review

Chris McKenna reports in the Times Herald-Record on April 27 that "the Legislature's Physical Services Committee voted 5-2, with one absention, on Monday to approve the new environmental assessment form that county officials submitted for approval." This revision was created to show that the new project will disturb less than an acre of land, exempting it from outside review. Chris McKenna reported that "Democratic Leader Chris Eachus questioned how the county could disturb less than an acre while adding 324 parking spaces, as officials now plan to do."
